batch changes

Hi new to the forum.

I'm a professional photographer and starting to get a handle on photoshop but I don't learn well from books.

I want to put my copyright on the bottom of my proofs and doing it one at a time is taking to long. I know there is a batch thing but I dont know how to use it.

Can any body help.

I don’t know a thing about copyrights but if all you want to do is print the same symbols etc on each proof you can do the following:

Windows>Show action
Click on black arrow that points to the left
Click New Set>OK
Click New Action>Record
Using Text type in the Copyright
File > Save As and pick the file where you want to save the image
Click black arrow again and Click Stop Recording
Go to File>Automate>Batch
Click OK


Unless I left out a step this should do it. As I said I am not at all familiar with copyrights but this procedure does the job for me.

I am using Photoshop 6 so it may be different for you.

This is actually a little more complicated than it might seems at first. This page (http://photoshoptechniques.com/forum/showthread.php?p=88501) has a solution that went through some trial and error to achieve.
