Actions (Imageready)

I'm trying to automate a fairly boring process in ImageReady... and I'm wondering how I can make this work. Basically, I want it to ask me for a slice, and then do a bunch of actions on that slice...how do I get it to let me pick?

Well, I don't know how to explain more =[
I just need it for example to do a bunch of actions on, say, the current slice. Or else popup a box asking me what slice.
