i've made a recording of changing an RGB image to CMYK and saving, and now want to set this action to run on a folder of files.
BUT, when i load the action it says that the adjustment isnt available...??
is this choice not available during the action, or have i missed something out?
cheers folks

Is there any bitmap (black and white) file in the folder? that's the only problem I see...

If i get you right, you have recorded the action ok..or what? an imporatant note is if you cganged the file name Photoshop will use this name every time it saves an image, you have to chgange the location for the file to run ok, maybe that what's wrong.
and to run the action on a folder of images you use the File /Automate/ Batch command this is very helpful and fast.
let sPECtre and i know what happen with you.

yes, i have recorded it ok, the action works if i manually open a file and play it. i haven't changed the filename.
i unticked the open file box in the batch command, and it plays the action, but now i have to manually save each file as it wants to save them as .PSD's #0
the outcome of it is i have manually gone through the whole folder and changed the files one by one.
#0 :[
its just i knew about the batch command, and future reference etc etc
hey ho, maybe i'll have a play when i've got some downtime...

Did you remove the menu button (the one that looks like a menu with three dots), the first one at the left of the text of the action. I know it is needed with JPGs...
