Yes T07N there is and I won’t tell you until you give Stroker a cookie.
But wait there is more:
Go to File/ Automate/ Batch
Choose source and destination folders
There you are.

But how to specific the action to be taken in that batch?

you create an action script of what you want to be done with all those pictures.

Thanks for your prompt response, T07N. Is that script like some programming work in some special computer language, or just like recording macro on a series of actions in spreadsheet?

I also intended to create a batch that can automatically apply auto-contrast and remove noise. I can do it one by one manually, but don't know how I can convert it into a script. Your advice are much appreciated.

hmmm do a search on "how to record an action" or something like "photoshop actions" and see if you get anything, if not then ill show you.

1. click on the action tab
2. create a new action
3. press record button
4. do whatever you want to be done with all pictures.
5. click stop
6. file > automate > batch ...

there ya go.
